The workshop will be organized by Jürgen Appell, Department of
Mathematics, University of Würzburg. It is intended as a
continuation of the workshop on nonlinear spectral and eigenvalue
theory which was organized in Pontignano/Siena (Italy) by Raffaele
Chiappinelli in November 1998. Financial support by the German
Research Foundation (DFG) is gratefully acknowledged.
The aim and scope is to bring together experts on nonlinear
analysis and its applications to discuss recent developments and
open problems in the theory, methods, and applications of spectra
of nonlinear operators.
Participation is mainly upon invitation by the organizer. No
conference fee is charged from other participants. On the other
hand, financial support for travel expenses or living costs
cannot be granted. So everybody who is interested to participate
should try to use his or her own sources.
