Although there is not much time for other interests than mathematics and
the family, I try to do at least one additional thing in order to
have some kind of compensation to the work in the office and at home,
and that's cycling. The two pictures on the right-hand side show me
(yellow shirt, with some red on it)
at the start of the "Radmarathon" in Altdorf (black forrest)
as well as in action, climbing up one of the many mountains (September 2006).
From time to time, I take part at some races close to my living area
(this used to be Hamburg til September 2001 and is Würzburg since
October 2001). Here are some of my recent results:
