On an explicit bound for the number of primes in arithmetic progressions

Abstract: The number of primes up to some index is an interesting question. It also leads to the question about number of primes in arithmetic progressions and explicit estimates about this number. In this talk, based on joint work with A.-M. Ernvall-Hytönen, I discuss about an explicit bound for the number of primes in arithmetic progressions assuming the Generalized Riemann Hypothesis.
