Conference Building
The building is situated in the top of the University of Würzburg, conveniently located between the university’s two main campuses: Hubland South and Hubland North. Since 2011, the Z6 building has been used by various faculties to promote education and innovation through lectures, seminars, and a diverse array of academic events.
It features three lecture halls with a total seating capacity of 1,041, along with 23 seminar rooms that can accommodate approximately 1,000 additional participants. This setup makes the venue ideal for hosting over 2,000 people simultaneously, providing the necessary infrastructure for large-scale academic and professional gatherings.
A standout feature of the building is its west-facing terrace on the second floor. From this vantage point, visitors can enjoy panoramic views of Würzburg, the Main River Valley, and the Marienberg Fortress. This picturesque outlook serves as an inviting space for creative breaks and engaging discussions throughout conferences.
