Lena Baumann
On Landau damping coupled with relaxation for the Vlasov-Poisson-BGK system
Masterthesis supervised by Prof. Dr. Christian Klingenberg (2021)

The main goal of my research is the numerical solution of inverse problems on a kinetic level. To this end, we want to use the interplay between kinetic and macroscopic models. Further, we want to make this process more efficient by incorporating reduced order approaches such as low-rank approximation.
