Submission & Presentation

The LOC uses an electronic submission system managed by ConfTool.  Before your submission, please register in full and pay the full conference fee or complete a pre-registration. With a pre-registration, you will only pay 100 Euro before submission and the rest of the conference fee after your contribution is accepted. Note that the pre-registration fee will not be refunded in case your contribution is rejected.

Authors are permitted to submit an abstract as the main (corresponding or presenting) author. Before your submission, please register in full and pay the conference fee.

All contributions must present original research that has not been published elsewhere. Therefore you must upload a plagarism report in Conftool when you upload your contribution. Either upload a report from a plagiarism detection software (e.g., ithenticate) or use this form.

Submissions that exceed the specified page limits or do not fully comply with the template will not be considered for review.

Types of Contributions

The International Programme Committee (ICP) welcomes theoretical, methodological, empirical, or developmental contributions in two formats:

Papers The maximum length for a paper submission is eight pages, including references, figures and appendices. Papers must follow the official template. Accepted papers will be presented and discussed at the conference and will be published in the conference proceedings. When submitting via ConfTool, please indicate both your first and second choice of key topic area.

Poster SummariesThe maximum length for a poster proposal submission is two pages. Accepted posters will be displayed and presented during a dedicated session during the conference, and the proposals will be included in the proceedings. When submitting via ConfTool, please indicate both your first and second choice of key topic area.

It is possible for full-text papers to be recommended as a poster by the IPC. In this case, you will be able to submit a poster after your full-text paper has been rejected (i.e., after the regular submission deadline).

Submission Guidelines

Contributions should be in relation to one or several of the conference key topics.

Not sure how the different types of contribution differ? We are happy to answer your questions in a Zoom pre-event.
