Würzburg, a city of approximately 125,000 inhabitants in the Franconia region of Bavaria, has a rich history and a strong academic tradition. As a renowned university town, it is home to the Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg, one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in Germany.

The conference will take place at Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg, in Building Z6, located the top of Würzburg, offering a beatiful view across the charming old town.

Würzburg is well connected by Germany’s extensive transportation network. The city is easily reachable by train, car, or long-distance bus, and has excellent links to Frankfurt International Airport (FRA), the nearest major international airport. 

Würzburg is a popular tourist city, especially during weekends and holiday seasons. We recommend booking your accommodation  early. 

Würzburg has an excellent public transport system with trams and buses connecting all parts of the city. Most destinations, including the main station and the conference venue, are easily accessible.
