WORKSHOP: Recent Trends in Nonlinear and Nonsmooth Optimization

The workshop Recent Trends in Nonlinear and Nonsmooth Optimization, which will take place on December 11–12, 2025 at the Humboldt Building, Institute of Mathematics, on the occasion of Christian Kanzow’s 60th birthday. 

It features 15 distinguished speakers from Christian Kanzow’s wide network of collaborators. Its aim is to highlight recent advances in areas closely connected to his significant scientific contributions, in particular, in the fields of nonlinear and nonsmooth optimization.

Topics: The workhop will reflect the depth and influence of Christian Kanzow’s work, including:
