Abstract:
In the last 30 years, the study of Krasnoselkii-Mann type procedures for approximating fixed points
of nonexpansive mappings had been a flourishing area of research for many mathematicians. Also,
numerous applications (e.g. in signal processing and image reconstruction) have been topics of
intensive study.
In this talk we give a brief introduction to this subject. We also present a novel optimization
algorithm for training deep learning models.
