Abstract:
We first present a simplified model for magnetorheological fluid, which is a one-way coupling between fluid and magnetic fields. The homogenization question is formulated, and the difficulties in analysis of the model are addressed. In the second part of the talk, we provide the qualitative homogenization results for the model. The main idea and proof of the results are also discussed.
