The Institute of Mathematics at the University of Würzburg is looking for a friendly, open-minded and committed personality to provide administrative support for the Chair for Mathematics VII and the Professorship (f/m/d). The following position is available from 01-Feb-2026
one part-time position as secretary.
The part-time range is agreed in the range 50-64% and as a replacement until 31-Jan-2029. Continued employment is desired.

One term Giovanni Prodi Chair professorship
The Institute for Mathematics at the University of Würzburg offers a temporary Giovanni Prodi chair professorship for each of the periods
- Oct. 12, 2026 - Feb. 5, 2027,
- Apr. 12 - Jul. 16, 2027.
These professorships should enrich our academic life in Würzburg. Prodi professors are expected to interact both with faculty and students leading to international contacts.
