The Alumni Association

The annual fee for members of the association is 25.00 euros. As a member of the association, you will receive an alumni card with which you can take advantage of numerous other benefits, for example

• Invitations to exclusive events
• the opportunity to take part in training courses at the computer centre at employee prices
• Discounts on selected seminars at the Centre for Continuing Education (CCE) at the University of Würzburg
• Special conditions when shopping at selected wineries in Würzburg
• Alumni prices in the "Burse"
• a free guided tour of the historic city centre.

The Alumni Portal

The alumni portal is a communication platform for maintaining and establishing a wide range of contacts. With your free registration you get

• the opportunity to easily maintain contact with other alumni and your alma mater
• Invitations to events
• invitations to regional group meetings
• the opportunity to participate in the mentoring programme
• the alumni newsletter (once a quarter)
• the opportunity to become a member of the central alumni association.

Our offer for maths alumni

The following activities take place regularly as part of our alumni work:

• Mathematics alumni lecture series
  (alumni and alumnae report on their everyday working lives)
• Graduation ceremony of the faculty
  (usually first Saturday in July)
• Information on the development of the Institute in research and teaching (web, print)
• Information on career support / career entry
• Mentoring option (one-off or regular)

Alumni representative for mathematics

Are you an alumnus or alumna and would you like to tell our students about your experiences as a mathematician in the professional world? Then you are a candidate for our alumni lecture series and perhaps also for the Alumni Office's mentoring programme.
