The Institute of Mathematics has a vacancy for a
Student Assistant for the Social Media Team (f/m/d)
to start as soon as possible thereafter to provide support for news about research and teachiing at the institute. Applications are open to students in mathematics at JMU, and the aim is to offer a contract with an initial term of one year, alternatives by arrangement. Applications will be accepted from now until 05-Aug-2026 or until the position is filled.

Student or research assistant in teaching mathematics
The Institute of Mathematics is constantly looking for mathematics students in higher semesters for the correction of exercises, the holding of tutorials or the work as JIM-explainers.
Application deadline for the winter semester 2026/2027: 31-Jul-2026. Applications received after this date will only be considered if auxiliary staff are still required
