Maths Day 2025

On 5 July, 41 maths fans came together for Maths Saturday. Many puzzles and brainteasers awaited them. There were also insights into bubble maths, complex numbers and fair elections.

Mouse Day 2024

Doors open with the mouse was the motto again on 3 October 2024: This time there were mathematical insights into boxes of chocolates and, as always, exciting puzzles.

Maths Day 2024

Maths Saturday on 15 June 2024 was all about mathematical magic tricks, Efron's cube and the Pythagorean theorem, among other things. 31 participants also showed off their puzzle skills at the mathematical dominoes.

Mouse Day 2023

On 3 October 2023, a Maths Day with lectures, workshops and puzzles took place for the second time as part of the Open Doors with the Mouse campaign.

Maths Day 2023

On 17 June 2023, all participants in the Maths Circle were invited to a Maths Saturday. This time it was all about mathematical dominoes, knots, satellite origami and mathematical games. There was also a rally across the university campus.

Mouse Day 2022

Under the motto 'Exciting connections', the doors of the Institute of Mathematics opened on 3 October 2022 with the Sendung mit der Maus.
