Maths seminar 2025

Four days of puzzling together, solving problems and discovering exciting maths: In January 2025, 30 young people were given this opportunity at the Institute of Mathematics.
They learnt that maths has many facets, not only in the workshops, but also on a trip to the Kulturspeicher with the exhibition"Mathematics and Concrete Art".

Maths seminar 2024

At the maths seminar in January 2024, the 31 participants from the intermediate level learned about university mathematics in lectures and workshops. The fireside evening was used for intensive discussions with lecturers and students. A visit to the maths lab in the MIND Centre was also on the agenda.

Maths seminar 2023

27 participants spend four days at the maths seminar from 29 January to 1 February 2023 at the Institute of Mathematics, immersing themselves in the world of mathematics and working together on current problems.
