The aim of this autumn school is to introduce the notions of deformations and rigidity from many different angles of perspective to an audience of PhD students and young postdocs working in the fields of algebra, geometry and analysis.

Professor Hans Wilhelm Knobloch, der ehemalige Inhaber des Lehrstuhls für Mathematik II an der Universität Würzburg, ist am 10. Juli 2019 im Alter von 92 Jahren verstorben.

Am Samstag, dem 29. Juni 2019, fand um 14:00 Uhr im großen Hörsaal 0.004 des Zentralen Hörsaal- und Seminargebäudes, Hubland Süd, die Akademische Feier 2019 der Fakultät für Mathematik und Informatik statt.
