Third ‘Women in Maths’ meeting for female employees and students at the Institute of Mathematics

The third ‘Women in Maths’ meeting will take place on the 6th of February at 2:15 pm in the seminar room 41.00.006 on the ground floor of Emil-Fischer-Str. 41. This time, and of course in the future as well, our colleagues from computer science are invited to join us and network with us!

The main purpose of the 'Women in Maths and Computer Science' meetings is to provide a safe and friendly environments for everyone interested in equity, in particular our female* mathematicians and computer scientists, to network. We plan monthly meetings, that will alternate between informal meetings, sometimes in cafés in town, with more formal meetings with a speaker, or a fixed discussion topic. Everyone interested is invited to join us! In particular, students from both mathematics and computer science are welcome to participate in our gatherings. On February 6th we will get to know each other around coffee/tea and cookies and discuss Chapter 4 from the book Invisible Women by Caroline Criado-Perez, which you can find uploaded on our WueCampus page:
